May 2009 ........................................ And, Take TwoOur second attempt to record a new album has been successful! We layed in the base tracks: drums, bass, guitar and other guitar, as well as some syruppy sweet trumpet lines, some mando tracks. Vocals are scheduled for next week.... Now we just need a good album title, artwork, mixing, mastering, backup vocals, a few overdubs, some hand claps, and about a million other things that go into recording and pressing a CD. This process seems to take forever, so don't hold your breath. We think it might be ready in the Fall 2009.
And be sure to check out these Pasties side projects on tour in early summer: Socks And Sandals (Kevin) Razz M'Tazz (Meg & Guire) The Blackberry Bushes (Joe & Kendl)

Pasties support anarchistsSo, have you heard about those Olympia anarchists who were arrested in seattle while protesting the war? Well, they weren't doing anything wrong except dissenting, which seems to be quickly becoming a crime in this country. Anyway, The Pasties are trying to help them secure legal funds. We're donating live tracks that we recorded at the Artesian Well during ArtsWalk for a benefit CD compilation. Some live tracks from the Hail Seizures are also on the CD. It's available at Rec the Place Records for sure, and most probably any other decent business in the area. Keep an eye out for it.
